Axis Business Park is in immediate proximity to Edinburgh International Airport and motorway access to the central belt of Scotland.
The development is strategically located at Newbridge Interchange where the M8 motorway to Glasgow, the M9 motorway to Stirling and A90 to Fife all intersect. The airport is located approximately one mile to the east of the site.
Old Edinburgh Road, which forms part of the A89 trunk road, provides direct access to the site from Newbridge Interchange. The A89 is on a major bus corridor ensuring the site is well served by frequent bus services to and from Edinburgh, Bathgate and Livingston.
The City of Edinburgh Council has submitted a private Bill to Parliament for the provision of a tram link with the airport and city centre, which will terminate at the front of Axis Business Park. If implemented, the tram link will be operational by mid-2011.
Axis Business Park is adjacent to the Newbridge Interchange which provides immediate access to the main road links to central Scotland, the north of Scotland and Fife. Roads within immediate proximity are the M8, M9 and the A900.
Newbridge is served by the South Gyle railway station, which is on the Edinburgh to Aberdeen line. The journey into Edinurgh city centre takes less than 10 minutes.
Newbridge is included in the 3rd phase of the new Edinburgh tram project, linking Newbridge into Edinburgh International Airport, South Gyle, Edinburgh city centre and Leith.
There are over eight different bus routes running through Newbridge connecting Axis Business Park with Edinburgh city centre as well as a host of nearby towns and villages.
